Looks like there is a 3M car care coming up in Kammanahalli/Banaswadi.
This is near Rasta Cafe and City Honda showroom.

it's already up and running. it's further ahead from the Rasta Cafe, right next to the new hospital that's come up. had gone there once, spoke to the owner too; he knows Sidhu (who, IIRC, helped setup the outlet) and Team-BHP.

There is new 3M car care coming up at Hope Farm junction adjacent to A2B, on the road leading to ITPL

Recent rains in bangalore resulted in a very dirty car and it was high time to get the car properly washed. So got the car washed @ 3M today and as usual it was a quick and superb experience.

Looks like no one visits this place anymore after the change of ownership :) last post was more than a month back. Planning to head there tomorrow to get the car cleaned after the recent trip.

Any more info on this? The place was doing so well then why change of ownership?

Well place remains the same as far as i know, infact was renovated and rejuvenated with the ownership change. I guess the new owner is also quite an enthusiast and hope he does good business.

That reminds me, need to pick some engine flush from there :)

I went there on 25th, taking a friend for nomad car mats for his new Avventura and sunfilm for front windscreen. Did see many cars there that day (more so because it was a weekend). Not sure how weekdays fare.

I was there last wednesday and the place was empty (yes renovation is going on). I had dropped in for the foam wash but after waiting for almost 20 mins I was told there was no water for wash! It was a disappointment.

I hope they pull up their service soon. Was not aware of the regime change there! So Sidhu has moved on to other things in life?

Yeah, weekdays were dry days, even when Sidhu owned the place. Hardly a few cars a day.

Saturday my friend's Avventura got a foam wash. The basement where washing happens, has slight renovations (door panels for those areas where pumps and machines rest, tiled flooring, LED lights, etc).

Sidhu has sold and moved on. Much earlier, he did mention that it wasn't easy doing business with 3M. Not sure what transpired.

The present owner of this HSR store told me that he is opening another one in Sarjapura road.

Looks like 3M is more interested in increasing the store count rather than maintaining the existing ones. Every 3Km radius I am seeing a 3M car care center. I could count as many as 6 just in Bangalore east.

I use the Koramangala 3M store for wash nowadays. Its closer to my place and has easier approach to the wash area with lots of parking space. The owner Vinay is a passionate guy and is meticulous in his approach to detailing. I suggest you guys to give it a try. They have no water issues as well.

A new one has opened up in Marthahalli next to Malgudi Dhaba where you take the U-turn for ITPL.

I remember there being one in Kundalhalli which is less than 0.5kms away!!

Now there is one in HSR and 2Kms away in Koramangla as well.

Their rates are premium and quality of work is acceptable but they are losing the USP. If you expand to such a large scale, prices should come down not go up even more.

The one at Kundanahalli has closed. I think it may be the same store that has relocated to ORR.

My car is due a good cleaning (both interior and exterior), polishing and anything else recommended.

Any recommendation on any specific package I should opt for and the cost? Bit of a newbie regarding this. Hence the question.

Edit: Another question. Do I need to do a prior booking on a weekday?
