Call Parthasarathi and check it. That's the only way. He has done it on a tired looking D200 earlier with very good results.

So my 4 year old i20 had accumulated a few annoying scratches on the windshield especially on the driver side. These were causing difficulty at the night in the glare of oncoming headlights.

Called up Partha and fixed up an appointment for the detailing of windshield.The windshield was cleaned first and clayed with Elastrofoam(An awesome product). Then Ceriglass -a compound which does the scratch removal on the glass- was used with rayon pad(pad designed to be used on glass) on a rotary. Multiple passes were done on the windshield and an inspection with a torchlight was done after each pass. Process was continued till Partha was satisfied with the clarity of glass.

Went for a drive later that night.All the minor glare causing scratches were gone . The bigger ones remained . But they cannot be removed by polishing anyway. But the irritating small glare causing cluster of scratches were gone for good.Makes life lot easier driving at night.

Since the K10 was nearing its 2 year mark, wanted to do something special. Got this weird idea of C-Quartz treatment for the car. Spoke to Partha, a thorough gentleman, and got it pampered. Partha is just awesome and gives the true meaning to the word - "Detailer" since he works on the car by himself and get to those nooks and crannies which I cannot even think of existed in the first place. Very straight forward to deal with & it's a pleasure to see the result of his work on the car after he has done with the preparation of the car for the C-Quartz. I have never seen my White car this glossy before!!
