Dent Repairs - Rayan Motors (Vijayanagar, Bangalore)

Happened to explore this workshop in my neighborhood on a weekend when we were hunting for an apt place for my friend's Swift's rear-right bumper's and front-left bumper's paint job.

We were not sure about how this would pull off in terms of quality, time and pricing.
Akram, the owner gave us a quote and detached the fuel-lid from the car, which would help him pick the right shade paint, though it is Granite Grey.
Sunday morning my friend reached there at sharp 10 am.
Akram is equally punctual about timings. I appreciate this!

Here's the damage on the rear bumper:

Re: Dent Repairs - Rayan Motors (Vijayanagar, Bangalore)

Good matching of the paint!

A few clarifications:

1. Did he paint the whole bumper or just a part of it?
2. Was the clear coat(lacquer) applied to only the painted part or was it applied even to the rear quarter panel?
3. How much was the cost for these two jobs?

One flaw here is that he seems to have used excess filler which was not necessary. Next time there is a scrape in the same area, the filler will come off as a single piece and will look annoying. Have seen this happen in my neighbours car. The entire section of filler just fell down when the repainted area was scraped by a biker.

From the photos, isn't there a lot of orange peel on the newly painted section?

He painted the quarter bumper to contain the damage.

Oops, that's bad.
Will pass your valuable inputs to him on the next car we are planning in my gang - A Punto (Pearl White).
And hey, thanks for the inputs

It's the angle and the camera quality may be.
The front bumper pic was taken with the car parked very close to a white wall, and ergo, the roughness we see here is the reflection of the wall.
Otherwise the finish is smooth.
Let me go back and get us some more daytime pics here.
Thanks for observing
