Bought a used Fiesta a month back, the car pull towards left and if you leave the steering it will turn slightly towards left.

As per the previous owner, he changed the tyres a year back (Still all the tyres looks new). Also during recent service he has done wheel alignment as well.

Fixed an appointment last Wednesday and went to Madhu's. Nikhil was not around and folks their attended promptly, told them the problem. They said wheel alignment should fix the issue and got the same done.

After that I could not check it properly in city traffic, even though i felt the pull. Weekend while driving to Chennai noticed the pull still there, and I have to put in lot of effort to keep the steering straight.

Guess I have to go there again and get it checked :Frustrati

Needs manual adjustment. Alignment for my Fiesta usually takes a second trip to the alignment center almost every time.

Visited Madhus today for the 10k wheel alignment and balancing. Despite the weekend rush, I was attended to immediately. Spoke for a while with Mr.Gopal and while the work was being carried on. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Kudos to the entire team. :thumbs up

P.S. - Madhus now offer A/C services as well. Saw a brochure for gas filling and coolant check. Sorry I forgot to take a pic.

Went again last Wednesday and told them the issue. They suggested me to go for road force wheel balancing along with tyre rotation. Done the same and guess what??! The left pull is still there :Frustrati.

Since wheel alignment has not addressed the issue, I suggest you get the suspension checked at from Ford - its possible that the track/tie rods have been bent due to some impact on the wheel. Or else, some other part of the suspension components.

Not sure how wheel balancing can fix the side pull. Try swapping the right and left front tyres. Did they try to perform alignment manually?

They have done wheel balancing using the road force equipment. And as suggested by the equipment itself, they swapped the tyres as below,

Front Left -> Front Right
Front Right -> Back Left
Back Left -> Back Right
Back Right -> Front Left

Ok. maybe you should pay Ford service a visit to get this checked.

At 40k kms, the Goodyear NCT5 on my Baleno had lived its life. Visited Madhus and replaced with Michelin Energy XM2. This was after much deliberation with my colleagues at workplace who were against such a premium tyre.

Initial impression of the XM2 are fantastic. The ride now glides, with low noise in the cabin and a supple ride.

Was in and out in 45 minutes flat with some good job by the technicians. One worry is the changing alignment values. The values seems to drift a bit on the higher side everytime I take for alignment. However the tyre seems to be having a normal wear pattern. Can someone tell me if this is normal.

If you tell me specifically which alignment value is drifting to the higher side I can help you out.

But values changing is quite normal. That is the reason alignment is recommended every 5000 kms.

The stock Goodyear NT5s on my Jetta developed a sidewall bubble on a second tyre as well and i decided to replace them. Visited Madhu's and picked up 2 Michelin Primacy 3STs and have had them fitted for the front while i continue to run the stock shoes in the rear.
The service was excellent and cordial with fast turnaround. Had a wheel alignment and balancing done as well and the RoadForce data was an absolute shock as the car went through the whole 'alignment' process at the VW service centre just a week back! There were reds all over the chart and the service associate told me that the alignment was very bad prior to their work!

Anyway, was impressed with the service and if they maintain their high standards are assured of a customer for life.

Was just going through the forum yesterday and found this. Now according to this, new tyres should be on the rear according to the theory. Even Michelin have advised this.

I had changed my Scorp tyres at your place to Michelins, we also had a nice chat at that time, i recommended your place to one of my friends in the Scorpio group , he called up your office today at around 10.45am to enquire about pricing and availability ,got a shocker when the guy who took the phone just told the price and banged the phone down.

He got upset and gave some peace of mind to me as well to recommend this place and went to somewhere else and bought the tyres. i hope you can ask your staff to be a little more polite to anyone who calls for any enquires.

Had a good experience at Madhus today. My 195/60/R15 ZLOs on the Punto - purchased again from Madhus about 2.5 years ago - had little tread left in them. Used for about 39K, having faced some punctures recently, and with some upcoming long drives planned, decided to change the tyres. Went for the Continental MC5 tyres as recommended by Nikhil.

Tyre cost : VFM at 5450/- per piece. Other options in the size were Pirelli, Yoko A drives , ZlOs ( 5K) and Michelin 3ST ( 6K ) . Got the road force balancing , and alignment after the fitment. Staff was very courteous and professional, as usual.Total cost for tyres+alignment+balancing was 22550/- , and got 500/- for the buyback of the old tyres, so the 22,050/- was the final damage to pocket.

Initial impressions after driving for about 12km are significant improvements in tyre noise ( only the engine noise is audible ) , and ride comfort.No change in steering feedback. Will be doing a long drive next week, and hopefully other factors like grip, handling will be more evident then.
