Sunken Treasures - Classic cars at the bottom of the sea

This wreck may give vintage car enthusiasts a sinking feeling.
Trapped beneath the waves is a trove of classic British vehicles which were lost when the cargo vessel carrying them was sunk in the Second World War.
The SS Thistlegorm, a British Merchant Navy ship, sank after it was bombed by two German planes in 1941.
The rusting 128-metre-long vessel has lain 30 metres beneath the surface of the Red Sea for 73 years.

Photos are taken from different sources on net:

The rubber would deteriorate due to salt? And even then the rim sizes would not fit now a days, I think. Plus it seems to have created a reef like environment and at least for a change the automobiles seem to be adding to the environment rather than taking it away. But gives you an eerie feeling looking at them.

Kudos ariesonu, trust you to come up with something unique once again!

BTW, do update your "beauties in the Port/customs" (similar sounding thread : you get the drift, right!) thread.

@ KHOJ: Thanks.
Authorities has put up some strict measures on photography inside port. I have tried once & almost begged the marshal to let me go. Since then been little wary of flipping out my phone.

Will try something when the heat is low.
