Yes, to an extent, its about sales. They show modified rides so many people would inquire about the same and also ask if any of those rides are for sale.

This show was hosted by California Automobile Museum along with many clubs. That is all i know.

And there were tents set up to sell components.

I think there was a silver Ferrari 575. I might have missed a few pictures though.

Yes indeed, few rides should in wierd and whacky thread.

As for ferrari. I am not sure which model it is. May be ferrari fans can throw some more light.

But i tried comparing it with 360 and 430, but somehow the exhaust and its surrounding doesn't match. All 360 and 430 has fuel cap on left side, this one has on the right side that too on the top. Also the front air dam doesn't match, neither the scoop on the hood. This one doesn't have air scoop near the door too. So i am sure its not f360/f430.

Edit: Finally i got it. It is the Ferrari 575M Maranello
