can some one suggest for me withing 30000.
1)a good 5 chan amp OR
2)one 4 chan amp and a monoblock OR
3)two 2 chan amps and a monoblock
I also had to think abt it for my system and finally went for option 1).

Option 2) will be bit expensive than option 1)but mono amp will give u better sound than 5th ch of 5ch amp.

Dont even think of Option 3).

Cheers
my opinions are based on the 75.4 and 6100f. Having not heard the 60.4 all I can say is that the 75.4 definitely sounds a lot more balsy than the 6100f. the 6100f is great for driving 2 subs. If I had 2 of those Pio 305F/C subs I would be satisfied with the 6100f. If I needed 50W+ rms for 4 channels of fullrange I'd take the 75.4. I assume the 60.4 will be close to the 75.4. maybe more refined but not much more as JBL promotes a balsy rock sound.

Thanx navin for your inputs. my friend has made up his mind, he is buying the 6100f coz he needs to run a sub and two speakers with it.
Navinji, i also need an amp to power four speakers.
Car - New Esteem VXI
Head unit- Pioneer P1Y
Rear speakers - JBL GTO 936
Front speakers - Kicker 4 inch component set EX-4.2 (35w rms and 70w peak)
Which amp do you recomend for me. Budget is upto 13k but i dont want to bugger my front components by overpowering them by using a very powerful amp. Therefore i am sort of confused which amp to buy. SQ is the prime factor for me and not spl. help

GT4-15 is available and i prefer it to the 1502D. You should get the GT4-15 pretty easily. Tell me if you need help getting it. Its excellent VFM.

for 13K you got a lot of options.

remember i have not heard every amp out there not even close. and also my tastes are a little diferent from the norm. Just ask Sam.

1. you are more likely to damage your speakers with a under powered amp than an overpowered one. the underpowered amp is more likely to be driven to clipping and that can usually fry a tweeter. so DONT WORRY about POWER.

2. the soundsteam mentioned, the audison sold by gunbir, etc... but my choice would be the alpine 240. why because I have tried it and like it. i have not heard the soundsteam or audison. if you want to rock the JBL 75.4 will shake the house I assume the newer 60.4 has the same character.

I knew one guy from mumbai who was one yr junior to me.His nickname was con john [real being David John].Why?????
When he joined med college and was being ragged by seniors, they found contraceptives in his pockets and hence he got this nickname.

But i dont think navin u wud like to go to that doctor.

Even i have lost contact with him. He's got many other interesting stories to his name but cant discuss here.
