Just want some gyan from folks on:
a. the recommended brands which deal in this 2+4 sensor setup
b. The problem here is small pavement size stones which demarcate our underground parking. They are about 10-12" tall and so can damage the bumper - can such a sensor setup recognize them?
c. Does the sensor have a disable switch? In bumper to bumper traffic, I don't want to be beeped every second by the device.

Thanks in advance for your knowledge!
In our car we have Minda Parkvision with 4 sensors(rear) set up. It comes with a display mirror which shows distance (2.3 mtrs to thud:-) in numbers and with RH/LH color bars(green, yellow, orange, red) along with siren with incresing pitch as you close to obestacle. I have no problem till now and it very accurate. i think it fits to your bill.

Re: Front + Rear proximity sensor recommendations?

Just bought an autocop parkpro for 3k. Comes with 4 sensors and a stickon ivrm that shows distance to zero and a diagram of a car with sides showing LH and RH distance. This is going into my new manza.

My vote goes to Minda or Autocop. Troublefree operation, good service backup if required. Minda is Gurgaon based. Never used Xenos.

Hi there, Any luck with the front parking sensors? I've had far too many bumper scrapes on my Verna that I am now seriously contemplating these. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Re: Front + Rear proximity sensor recommendations?

I have a 2015 Honda City in Orchid White colour (not regular white). I'm interested in installing these sensors but not from the showroom since they are priced ridiculously high at Honda. Will this involve wire cutting or void my warranty? Can I get the sensors painted in body colour from the accessories shop? Would it match exactly with my car body colour?

Re: Front + Rear proximity sensor recommendations?

Two of the rear sensors on my Wagon R have gone kaput, both of the right side. They dont detect anything now but those on left side do work. I'm planning to change them and have seen many such sensors on internet that are available at a much cheaper rate than those at service centers or outside shops. Are they any good?
