Re: Worthy replacement to Clarion DXZ 785 USB

I think Kenwood 7046BT is a good option. What's the price?

Re: Worthy replacement to Clarion DXZ 785 USB

Guys - reviving this as no decision has been reached on it yet.

I checked and discovered that Kenwood 7016 has been kind of phased out and difficult to source. The equivalent of it is 8046BT.

Any other options as of now?

Re: Worthy replacement to Clarion DXZ 785 USB

Guys - how's JVC KD-R926BT?

More specifically, how's the sonic signature of JVC vis-a-vis other brands?

I found Pioneer to be bright, Clarion to be balanced (exactly the way I like) and Kenwood to be warm. I havent used Alpine long enough to form an opinion. So please feel free to add it to this list.

How would you rate JVC on this scale?

i too asked the same question in couple of threads. dint get any reply though as no one has used this model yet it seems.

the only reply i got is kenwood has better SQ than JVC.

the above unit beats all other units in feature list and pricing.
