Low Profile SubWoofers

I had got two Polk MM 10inch low pro subs from US few months back .However they turned out to have greater height than i can provide in my Zen (spare wheel well while keeping the top part flat). So they have been lying unused at home .

However i have got my eyes on another Subwoofer which is by JLAudio .
JL Audio 13TW5-3 Shallow-mount 13.5" 3-ohm subwoofer at Crutchfield Signature

This one feels just the right size and impressive power handling of 600W RMS .
Can anyone provide some inputs or alternatives .

Thnks

Re: Low Profile SubWoofers

Is there any way for you to audition this sub? If not then you will have to rely on online reviews since there may not be enough people here in India who have compared these with other shallow subs, and whatever reviews I have read online for shallow subs, the 13TW3 are pretty good. The alpine SWR-T12 is another worthy shallow sub, if one was to go by online reviews.

Here are some reviews for both these subs, but then I have never heard either of these, so try and audition them if you can and let your ears decide.
