''pioneer 4-channel mp3 player
2 sony rear speakers .(oval)
2 ts-20.
1 glyder amp 4-channel 1,400 watts...!!!
1 sound barrior 4-channel amp 750watts.!
2 front sony speakers.
3 pioneer sub-woofer's.(306 dvc.) "

- Change rear speakers
- Remove tweeters
- Change front speakers, get components
- Change Amplifiers
- Change Subs

Me with gunbir. Meet him or jb. 30k! not enough I guess. If you want to power all those sub! A good powerful mono would cost you 20k plus. dump 3 subs and go for 2 subs with a good design box.

Keep HU. and subs ( if its good ...)

Get a goooodddd mono amp for subs if you want good bassss. If you can get a good compo for front ( can you get fibreglass job done for teh frnt? then get 5inch or 6inch compo) or get a kicker 4inch compo or jsut good 4inch speaker.

for rear; a 5 1/4 speaker or a compo. on stock location

and sub! emm, 2 would do na? Get a good box deisgned for it. Get a 600W amp and power it.

Get a good 4 channel amp for teh frnt + rear speakers

get good cables.

are u satisfied with ur sound system or not.If u r then u my me wrong man 3 woofer in a box. I have never seen such a thing before. Man get rid of the 3rd one and design a good box of two subs only buy a good mono block amp to power the sub. I have seen sound barrier it a local make amp but it is ok against the cost ur spending. remove the ts-20 and oval and the front speaker put some good componets in place of it this will make u some thing right. componets for jbl are good and nicely priced also around 6k.

Sam, LBM, before you guys run this poor guy down I'll let you know I had 3 subs in one really big box (the box occupied almost all of a contessa's trunk - i left enough room for a 2 cu. ft. igloo).

Now busted... I'm going to run a few ideas by you see what you like. we'll try to stick to the budget of 30K. Once done you can ask JB and co for a good installer.

Lets start with the HU (where the music starts).
Lets get one that is say 8-9K with atleast 2 preouts if not 3. I would consider Blaupunkt, Sony and Pioneer (not that Pio rarely offers a Bill and Warranty).

Now get some nice component speaker for the front. 6K should cover that. JBL, Blaupunkt's ODx.or any of the stuff JB/Gunbir sell are good. there are others but then you are getting expensive. I hope you can shoehorn atleast 5" comps in the front. It will really help.

half budget gone!

Ok. now add a good amp. I would look at the Pio 6100 at 7K. it has the muscle to drive 2 subs (we'll discuss the 3rd sub later). Another option is the JBL 60.4 at 10K. beyond this your budget will get extended.

and add rear speakers from the same brand as the front for 3K.

25K mile mark.

Now add a good cable for about 2500 (1200 per pair) and speaker wire for Rs. 1000.

28.5-31.5K depending on power amp choice.

Now for the connections.
Connect 2 subs in series parallel (there are 4 voice coils) to give 4 ohms and drive these 2 subs using 2 channels of the amp (bridged).

Do not connect the 3rd sub. Let it act as drone cone (passive radiator). I would suggest modify that sub if you like the effect later.

use the other 2 channels of the amp to drive the front speakers and the HU to drive the rear speakers.

This setup might not be as loud as you like but should sound better balanced.

Oh yes the TS20....ok I have heard them and they are tizzy bit the following mod can make them less intrusive. Use a 4ohm or even 10ohm 10W resistor in series with each TS20 and connect them in parallel with your rear speakers and let them fire at the rear glass (mount them near the rear speaker or on the sub box sides firing up). There are other mods you can do to these tweeters but these mods are not reversible. let me know if you get adventurous.

Nice one NAvin.

1) HU; busted...YOur HU is a Pio what? 5 series etc??
2) 5 incher not possible unless one cuts the dash; so 4incher cost 2.5k for JBL and 4.5k for another good company one..ok?
3) Rest of teh setup I am happy. But; 60.4 costs 10k? And most good companies provide speaker wire ( so you save 1000Rs) .

he would need 3 RCA ( right?) Audison would be a good buy.

ANd Navin; you forgot the sub box. 2k? With 1inch MDf + good connectors?

and hows does thsi passive thing work?

And Busted..its Xing
