Help with Pioneer P3550MP!

Hello guys if any one can help me out with my cousins Pioneer DEH-P3550MP Head unit of late its not able to play any mp3 cd's i must have tried with all sorts of mp3 cd but in vain & i get error message "Error 11" However FM Radio & Audio CD's are working properly, what could be the problem ? do i need to take it to Pioneer service ? where i can find it in mumbai ? but before sending it i want to know if theres anything that can be done, so audio gurus need your help.

seems this problem is not uncommon.

how old is ur head unit. and in which car ur using it. and which mp3 u r playing in that head unit

Its around 3yrs old & used in Ford Ikon flair, i am playing Mp3 songs from various CD infact CD which were working earlier are not playing now but i am able to play the same CD in different Head unit.

around 3 yrs thats the point in three year i think some dust must have been collected over the lens pickup of the cd player thats why u are not able to read the mp3s because the surface of a cdr is not so reflective. so get ur head unit service as per navin
