As mentioned earlier fonomat sheets are available in 10"x10" @ INR 220/-

I remember EVO6 mentioning some material which is used for damping, i think it was Cross link foam if i'm not mistaken.. probably the gurus can shed some light on this.. and if im correct he said it was easily available, cheap and it does a pretty decent job..

I accidentally bumped in to this page where it says secondskin audio damping products fare better than other damping products I am a newbie and i have heard only about dynamat's and wruth.

Of what I have seen Dynamat Extreme is good. I have not tried Wurth or Fonomat and the regualr Dynamat is not much help.

I would love to see a cheaper but just as effective product than Extreme.

I use Fonomat in my car and it does the job pretty well. I've sat in a car that had WURTH damping, and that did the job well too.

If you plan to buy from the US, I'd say Dynamat Extreme would be the best choice. It is a little expensive, but it will definitely get the job done properly.
