3 way Front Active + Sub in my Linea

Almost seven years after my 1st install in my Getz now it was the turn of Linea to get ICEd. Like last time I got most of the stuff from states this time as well.
It was installed by monty and his team at Audio SymPro ludhiana with special appearance made by Dr.Rupinder who you can in one pic installing midrange/tweeter in A pillar which was fiber glassed to house these drivers.Special thanks to Karan Bhatia as well for some invaluable piece of advice.

It also involved bit of DIY effort from my part with the help of local electrician to make remote for master volume control, sub volume control and switch for Helix P DSP.

Following is the list of stuff I bought though I also bought lot of other stuff like BB Playbook,Iphone 4S, both 64GB, Dayton Audio RS180 midbass, HAT Imagine i5-2 and few other items which wont be needed now though initially these were part of the plan.

160GB Ipod classic to store music files
Pure I-20 DAC in between Ipod and DSP
Helix P DSP (input from pure i20 via optical cable)
Audison LRx 5.1
Zapco 150.4
HAT L1 Pro R2 tweeters
HAT L3 Pro midrange
Exodus Anarchy midbass
Morel Ultimo 12" subwoofer (yet to receive)
Power wiring- RF dual amplifier 0 gauge and Audison 4 gauge
Sound Deadening- Dampmat (monty's products)
Custom subw box made by monty
Knukonceptz stuff-Distribution block, Karma SS RCA, ANL Fuses for D block, Karma SS RCA 1F 2M Y-adpater (fell short of one)
Speaker wire-14" from Monoprice for midbass, AIV Arctic for midrange and AIV cosmic for tweeter
Optical cable and few other small items from Monoprice
RCA 2-ch (AIV Arctic, other 6-ch from Knukonceptz)
Power supply for Pure I-20 from ebay.
10K potentiometer+ribbon cable+SPDT switch required for DSP's remote for DSP from in.element.

Below are the few pictures of installation. Feel free to ask any question regarding the install.

Amazing set up
So you have retained the stock set up.
Who made the custom A-Pillar?
What is that device in the so called cup holders below the center console.

Yes Akshay but the stock HU will rarely be used. My main priority was to use DSP with digital input from a source so this was left.

Custom A pillars were made by monty9991, installer from Ludhiana. He has Gunbir and JB as his Gurus so you can guess. Actually after all the measurement fiberglass work was done by someone else. Else it would have been perfect.

That device is called Pure I20 (power supply for car)mostly used in Home audio to connect Apple devices with HT setups either through optical cable (digital) or RCA. the best part about this is that If used digitally, it bypasses ipod's internal DAC and 'brings' the music files to next device (Helix DSP in my case) as these are without any processing being done by ipod.End result is better sound output, obviously.

re: 3 way Front Active + Sub in my Linea

Wow! that's some good gear right there. I was a bit surprised to see the availability of Knuconceptz & HAT products in India but scrolling down the page a bit, things made much more sense.

The A-pillar mod is slick, I love it and the trunk work has been done really well. I personally would have gotten the wooden planks covered with black rexine rather than the carpet fabric because I think it has more aesthetic appeal, its easier to clean and dust doesn't settle in that easy on the rexin giving it a new look all the time but each to his own I'm sure.

I'd would like to more pics after the complete installation, if thats okay with you.

HAT stuff is available in India. You can pm Mi10 (Parveen) if he is still here.
Else you can pm me for HAT distributor's contact detail.

I got so many pics but can not post all. However do let me know if you are looking for something. BTW I liked your idea of using rexine but I never thought it before.

I'd love to get some HAT stuff but they are beyond my range of affordability. I'm saving some of your pictures, just in case I need it to explain things to the installers around here because this is the kind of install I'm gonna get if I upgrade my existing ICE setup.
