importing pioneer models from US/Netherlands etc...

hi guys,i really wanted to know whether the head units,speakers,woofers and all others brought from U.S will perform the same way as they r brought here.as mum is in u.s presently,and next month we r planning of an ikon flair and so i wanted to get an audio system in advance.so i planned to get an pio 6800 HU ($180),and pio 6 * 9 -3 way speakers TS-A6971R($70), pio 10"TSW 251R sub woofer ($45) and if all u experts like the configuration then can u suggest me what should be the amplifier.and also i wanted to know whether the people here will install the products which r not bought from their store and if so waht would they cost?so guys i need this urgently as i have no time.please.

pioneer models from netherlands....

hello iam planning to import a pio HU from netherlands. will the model number be the same in netherlands as in india like pio 5850, 6850 and 4850. if not please give me the exact model numbers of the above models in netherlands. its very urgent...................as i have no time.......

model numbers should be the same, only thing availability varies from country and region

performance should not be an issue. alost all cars have a nominal 12V power supply.

considering your components while the Pio Hu is ok I would guess there are better speakers than Pioneer. I would suggest you invesigate other brands as well.

lastly dont expect any warranty support from your local dealer should anything go wrong. Pioneer has a lot of authorised service centers in India (atleast in Mumbai) and these will offer you service but will charge you just as they would for any grey market pioneers sold here.

Prem... Like Navin said... imported = no warranty..

Secondly you will get the same thing in India at rates cheaper that der Nederlanden!

In fact I find the rated of HU's in India cheaper than Singapore/Dubai!

I think i would import only 2 things from the netherlands. Women and marijuana. I do believe Pioneer would be cheaper in India.

BTW Amsterdam Airport has a draw jopping black Aston Martin on display.. so get that along if u can..for me

Sam grass may be leagal in the Netherlands but it is cheaper here (just illegal). Besides we are dangerously OT.

Yup I agree... ICE is cheaper in the US.. Second is SE Asia... then Middle East..however the ICE scene in the MIddle East is pathetic - not evolved at all... Europe is horribly expensive for everything!... cheaper to drink beer than water!!
