Hi All Guys,

Maruti has released Map Update for the SLDA Unit.

You will need Vehicle Vin and Smartplay Serial Number to download updates. The only downside is, you have to download Map for each System individually and you will need new SD Card with more than 2GB Capacity as the Original SD is only 2GB.

I somehow seem to have lost the memory card during my car's service. Does anyone know how and where I could get a replacement?

Dont worry. Buy a 4gb SD card . Format it as MS-DOS FAT32. Download the files as per the link above. extract and copy the 2 files Cryptnav and tollfree to the SD card. you are done

By the way I don't seem to find the link from the Maruti Website homepage.
Where did you find it?

I hope Maruti also allows customers to update the OS software when the Android Auto comes through this website.

I seem to face the same problem. Even my VIN number doesn't work.

You should be able to download the update from the following link as well:

The SD card provided by NEXA was a 2 GB card. Unfortunately the space was not enough for the new update. So have ordered from Amazon for a 16 GB card to see if there is any improvement in the Map Update.

Didn't work. The same problem. VIN Invalid. I am sure I am putting the correct VIN.
