Is this good enough for 500 Mtr range

Hi,

I am just about to order on behalf of my friend to need to clarify it with the expert. Is the below good for 500 mtr range. I mean people know from 500 mtr that some punk is coming

I have never seen or heard this bandpass box from streetglow. (I didn't even know they made speakers!)

I doubt you will hear it half a kilometre away. I don't know if you are serious about ordering this from abroad, but i find it silly to be carting that down.

It really is the price.. GOD PROMISE
For 200 metres I think 2 powerful subs should do the job.

PM LBM. He's into outright SPL. His car is very very loud. Though not to my taste

Or you could PM gunbir. Heard a SPL oriented setup by him on one of the meets. Loved it.

Just get two jbl tubes powered by a good mono amp. 500mtr thingy guaranteed. Two maybe too loud.

Tubes are recommended for showoff setups ( cheap and best)

guys why going in so much detail.....the answer is simple it is possible and not possible also.....

the recommendation given by JK will do the job but on a condition that there is no ambeint noise there so that one can easily judge from where the sound is coming.....but normally this does not happen so I think abhibh leave the thougth of showing off at a distance of 500 meters or 200 meters...it is highly impractical......

here is a simple calculater from which one can see how much sound reduces with the increase of distance....
http://www.sengpielaudio.com/calculator-distance.htm

Like u have a 120 db source in your car....with a distance of 200 m the sound level would reach at 73.98 db which is a very big change....and if one is standing at a crowded area or even at a intersection there will be many 73.98 db sound sources...so it will be hard to pin point from where the sound is coming to make a statement.....

to achive such high SPL in car is not a easy job one need right equipment to achive it....Even I am behind many.........

It is positively dangerous to be in a car that can be heard 500 meters or even 100 meters away.
