The display in my Creta once in a way goes blank and once it is parked for an hour or so comes on again when the car is started. Sometimes the opposite happens the display freezes and does not go off even when the engine is shut down.

This has happened about three times till date in the last 6 months.

What is happening and how do i set it right?

I think it's probably a loose connector somewhere in the dashboard wiring. At worst it's a faulty display which will be replaced under warranty.

It will need some trouble shooting behind the dash. Take your car to the dealer.
