If you are very particular and dont want to cross the budget then get JBL or Pioneer Sub Driven by Sony 4 channel amp.

what good would a 4 chan amp do.why not a 2 chan amp.

If you get a 4 channel amp then you can bridge 2 channels for Sub and 2 for Fronts to get front sound good.

Yeah my friend had the pio sub when he was getting the new HU installed. Also the car in which the eartquake sub was getting installed was IKON not fiesta ..

ok abhibh thanx a lot.i have the earthuqake with me.i will give it a shot.hear it and if i don like it think about pioneer or JBL.

has any one used the sony 552. i plan to use to drive my sub.is that okay ?

any one ..... mugen power....?

The one 'you saw' was a mad-*** spl sub designed to be fed kilowatts of power. The entry level Pioneer subs have feather-weight injection molded PP cones and single layer v/c. I am not trying to imply that they sound great in any way, however.

yea but i dont really have a choice.i have to use the 552 to power the sub.which ever i finally end up using.

For how much ?
sealed or ported box ?

was just going through this old post and i would like to say i finally ended up getting the pio sub with the sony 552

Great !! Which Pioneer sub is this ? If you have any chance to upgrade mate the sub with a more powerful amp.

pioneer 306 with sony 2 chan amp.
