Dear friends.....
I live in Cairo Egypt..I just bought a new car Honda model City ZX VTEC equiped with a radio and CD player all in one, what I would appreciate to know is
1- What brand does its Stereo equipment originally belong to.
2- How to remove it from dashboard to install my Ipod to its inputs...I hate FM adaptors.
3- Is there any possibility to acquire its service manual.....
Thank you in advance......Happy to belong to your group......Tony

In India Honda offer Alpine. the Vtec (and CVT) usually come with the Alpine 9843. The 9843 can control an ipod (in a limited fashion) using a Alpine KCA420i ipod adapter. ALpine service manuals can be obtained from Alipine directly but I do not advise trying to fix things inside a modern HU.

No need of using the normal aux connection if it's alpine 9843. The ipod adapter which comes for it is good enough to play ipod fine.
It can control the ipod to some extent also.

@Tony. Could you post a pic of your HU?

No it comes with a HU that is Ipod compatible. You have to buy the ipod adapter if you want to see the Artist/Album/Track details on the HU and control and power the ipod from the HU/car. if not any EP to RCA wire will connect the ipod headphone socket to the Aux in on the HU.
