Audio system lacks punch

i have a hyundai viva crdi, fitted with blaupunkt sevilla mp3,front 6"jbl 3-way, rear blau velocity ovals, pioneer 12" sub in enclosure, blau gt-series 4-channel amp & blau ts series tweeters.the system is quite loud but there is no crispiness in the bass, would changing the wiring help or do i need to replace the sub with a basstube ?????

I assume the Blaupunkt GT amp feeds the sub and front speakers. I don't see any need for the TS tweeters? where are they used?

as far as punch goes
a) Try reorienting the sub
b) try stuff the sub box with some damping material (glass wool etc..).
c) is the sub ported or sealed? what sub is it (306F/306C or other)? how big is the box (internal dimensions/ volume)?
