The Kicker Swift

Here are couple of pics of the Swift owned by my Friend Dilip,
Actually he has sold the car and this setup does not exist anymore, but anyhow it is one of my favorite setups,

Equipment:
2 Kicker SoloBaric L5 Woofers
2 Kicker KX400.1 Amps
2 Soundstream 1 Farad Capacitors
2 Sets of Focal K2Power components speakers

He also had some 4 channel amp and a Alpine DVD player with 2 headrest mounted screens.

Oh, before I forget, Installer Anwar from Auto Fusion.

The doorpad job is really neat in this, it gels prefectly with the pad, not overstated at all, also, the acrylic on the edges have neons monted which makes the whole thing glow at night and used to look fantastic.
The neons in the boot, used to look especially awesome at night, alas, I don't have those pics

Wow! That's some install! Looks very tech in the boot. Probably because of all that silver. Anwar is sure one helluva artist!

I wonder why the guy (the owner) didn't go in for 3-ways. SPL dude huh?

Blueraven, do you have any pics of 3-ways done in a Palio? Any idea if Anwar has ready-made stuff (door panels and stuff) for the front doors for a 3-way install in a Palio?

No pics for a 3 Way Palio compo, but he has done lots of 3 Way Installs, Recently he did KB's Accent with the 3 Way ID components, and he also did a 3 Way Eclipse Compo Setup on what i think is a swift,
he does not have anything readymade, he always installs everything custom depending on the vehicle, customer preference and of course his mood, but above all what a customer wants.

Yeah this guy who owns the car is an SPL Dude, but this setup was a combination of SPL and SQL, good balance, but the bass was the type which will shake your heart inside your ribcage yet not crack your eardrums with irritation.
The subs had gone into compact sealed fiberglass enclosures.
Can't explain really well, you need to hear the setup to know.
The Kicker / JL Skoda he built recently had a very similar touch in terms of tuning compared to this swift.
The dude had a Fiberglass setup in a Skoda RS also, and has recently bought a Civic, don't know what is going into it though.

Thanks for the quick reply, blueraven :-)

I saw pics of KB's 3-ways. Really neat install. And it was done so simply too, without fibreglass mods. I was looking for some similar solution that would avoid cutting the door panel for the midranges. Dome midranges would be fine for this (I'll need to just screw them on, and they'd sound better too), but I'm not sure I want to spend thaaaaat much.

Right now, I was thinking of getting a vertical MDF panel done on the door to fix the woofer and the midrange one over the other, and then fix the tweeters on the A pillar. Not too much space to play with on the Palio door :-(

He! He! I indeed am a Fan of his work, not just because he is a good installer, but because of his modesty and down to earth nature, that guy knows he is one of the very best if not the best, but has no Air about it at all,
And, he is a pretty good buddy of mine too.

SoloX in India

Here is a snap of another pic of Anwar's kicker setups, setup owned by Raghu.

Equipment:

1 Kicker 18 " SoloX subwoofer (5000 RMS if someone did not know)
1 Kicker KX2500.1 Mono Amp. (Now the guy has two of these)
1 Kicker KX700.5 5 channel Amplifier
1 set of Rockford Fosgate P162s component speakers
1 set of Rockford Fosgate P1692s component speakers

He also has some 10 Farad capacitor , 2 batteries in the car of which one is a Lighning Audio Strike series 800 Amps Battery.

One last thing, the dude had ,many cars to play with but still installed it in a old 800, which I did not like, but he wanted to define radical.

Those silver clamps/hooks which look like it holds the sub enclosure are done by Stanley leather

Last but not the least, sad that DB Drag did not happen, this beast setup was waiting to be unleashed.
