Hi manaa,

That is truly a vague enquiry lol.
OK, when you press your brake, you get disturbance. Does this disturbance occur when you are stationary and you press the brake? Or when you are in motion and you rapidly decelerate by activating the brake pedal.

I am trying to ascertain if it is an electrical or mechanical fault.

thks

sorry for the late replies guys, was out the whole day yesterday.

@ sam - the disturbance occurs when i m driving as well as stationary but with the engine running.

it happens at all the times, whether i m slow or fast.

@ tsk - it is a hyundai accent.

@ Navin - it is only the radio. i still use the cassete and the radio player. doesnot happen with the cassetes . (which i rarely use).

hope to get something out of this meanwhile i will check up with the antenna wire.

I second Navin's opinion. It happened in my esteem. Antenna Wire got loose and got itself entangled to the clutch lever. After that Press clucth = radio disturbance.

Loose wire

Hey ,
check the antenna wire as rightly stated by navin and vikram , if the problem still persists then probably you need to take the car to a sound guy who will repair it,Some what same noise used to come in my car ,only difference was that the accelerator wire would get stuck with the system and every time i accelerate the the sound would come from the speakers.
It was a wiring problem ,
Cheers
