Palio 1.2, ICE Config, No Boom Boom

I might be asking this from Sam Da Man Directly But then there is a forum for our common cause
I have Installed a basic ICE setup in my Palio, Now I m a bit techie, Part Banker, Part Cost and Part Image concious.
The setup is
  1. HU JVC VCD/MP3/WMA , Base model Cost: 4300/-
  2. Pair of Pioneer T2150-s Rear Parcel Tray/Parallel with Intex PC Speakers to "Throw sound towards the front"
  3. Alpine 2 channel Amp
  4. Two Front Sony 8' Speakers
  5. T20 tweeters Pioneer
The Speaker Setup along with Amp cost me somewhere close to 12000/- so the complete setup is roughly 17000/- odd Rupees.
But the query is ..
My Car does not have a Bass effect as I had seen in my Older car with the 2150's. Do I need to get rewiring done or is tuneup required for the amplifier
Is the hardware good enough ? I love the 2150s for the simplicity Do ineed to add a woofer

I aint a clear Music fan, I love Loud and Rock, Mp3 is as good as any format for me, I listen from Lenny Kravitz to Color me Badd, from Meatloaf to G N R , Bon Jovi to 50 Cent
So gimme some kind of advise so that the Money I ve spent is justified...

I am a lot confused after reading your post.
As understood from your post, You don't want to add/change any of your current setup. Right??

Then I would suggest you to please explain how the wiring has been done. Especially the Amp. What does it power in your current setup? I think it's powering the ovals now.

Sony 8" or 8' ?? 8 incher sonys in front doing what?? Is it a midbass kit?? or is it a typo??

And T20 tweeters!! I think it's TS20. Right?? That can be avoided from your setup and it will atleast start playing clean.

INTEX!!! what??? PC speakers??

How much did you buy this for? I'm pretty sure this is the Chinese fake Alpine.

a) check all wires. somewhere if one wire phase in in reverse you will hear almost no bass. so check the speaker wires first and then even check the RCA cables.

b) I have never seen a 8 foot speaker. I assume this mean 8" dia. even so an 8" dia speaker would only fit the Palio door with modifcations. if you could be so kind as to supply us with all the model numbers it might give us a clue.

guys'
the details are
  • INTEX' :-just an experiment, sounded nice so I kept em
  • Xplod Door speakers (Sony 8' was an error, they are in my other car)
  • The Amp is genuine, checked
  • TS20 tweeters , shall I plonk em out??
  • RCA cables
Now as navin said there was a phase difference, i ve just come back from the car's boot after starting the wiring from scratch(had to plead with the chap to work on sunday evening)
Lets see if it works out

if you plonk them out there will leave install scars. one alternate is to leave them be but connect a 10ohm/10W resistor in series with each TS20 (before it's XO). THe TS 20 XO I guess is a single cap. That will drop it's level to a point where it wont be so irritating.
