I use a Pioneer 4650 HU in my OHC . I bought this HU in Nov 2004. I'm having problems playing most of my Mp3 Cds in it. When I insert the CD it reads and then I get a message saying "ERROR 11" or "ERROR 23" . But when I play the radio for a while like around 30 min and then switch to CD again the songs from the CD start playing. This is happening with all the CDs in my collection. However a couple of mp3 CDs I bought recently play immeditely once inserted into the system.

What could be the problem?

Lens going bad. Once it warms up it is ok though. Newer CDs are not so abused sothe lens does not have such a hard job to do. Try makng new copies of your OLD CDs and see if that helps.

Try resetting HU .. it helps sometimes

get the hu serviced....dirt is the only issue here......
