Help needed : ipod adapter ready

Looking forward for the help of all ICE gurus here.
I have got the HU ,DEH-P5850 from Pioneer installed in my car,and I see from the manual that its Ipod ready.
Right now I use an fm transmittor to connect my ipod to the IPOD.
I am not satisfied with the clarity of music the Transmittor gives.

Would like to know how can i get the pure quality sound of Ipod from this head unit.As it says IPOD Ready.Do i need to buy some kind of adapter to get this done...

Now you can start helping me..

No You are wrong sir. With 5850 you dont just need cable you need the complete adapter kit that is CD-UB100

Your model is IPOD adapter ready not IPOD ready.

Most shops should take 2-3 days to get this for you on order.
