i've got pioneer 6950ib but now i've came to know that usb is supported via a adapter. can is it possible to DIY this thing.

I think it will be not be easily possible because you will be needing a usb decoding chip to take info from the usb device to the hu......the interface is avialable for 4990.....and getting it will be good idea as one might not damage the HU......

i could get but availability is an issue. i waited for two months for 6950ib and i don't want to wait for usb adapter too but i guess, now usb project is closed.

It is offically avalable.......checkout the offical dealers in delhi if you can.....
