I think that's the CS2165c. Mostly the same as the 607c, but with an inline filter. 5K, if I'm not mistaken.

i was quoting the DEH-P7950UB from the pioneer site. is it available here and is it the same one mentioned earlier in the forum? i thought you can connect a usb device (built-in USB control) directly without an adapter for this model. i may be mistaken. can someone shed more light on this.

Otherwise it is a good HU. I'd get the 6950 for about 2K less (unless you plan to buy the ISB Adapter).

Price is correct, but not a stripped down version of the 607, it is a stripped down version of the 606, last years GTO.

We are quite like the scuderia in this respect. lol.

thanx hydra. that post by l_b_m clarifies it. 7950 is direct USB but the 6950 is not.

for usb devices, we just need usb extension cord. or in case of pendrives, we just need to plug it in.

for ipods, it is still just adapter ready. we need to buy CD-UB100.

i dont intend to use an ipod, just a pendrive and maybe an external harddisk. have someone connected an external harddisk to P7950UB using an extension cord? (read in one thread that some external harddisk was not detected when connected)

If you don't plan to add subs/amplifiers to your car, then the Pio 2950(Rs.4400) will suffice and If you plan to add subs/amplifiers to your car later, then try Pio 3950(Rs.4900)/4950(Rs.5400).

JBL for the rear - Rs.3500
JBL for the front - Rs.1700

Forgot the model nos for the JBL's and hope these are within 10K !!!
