@manveet, Dimensions of GTO75.4: (L x W x H): 384x313x60mm (15-1/8" x 12-5/16" x 2-3/8")

EDIT: Sorry, couldn't find weight specs. It should be about 5kg max (w/o packing) I guess.

The price in the website is some 100 odd pounds .. and maybe 6 pounds for delivery .. comes to about 8500/- bucks.

Even if it is same as local rate, I'd prefer my sis getting is at she always pesters me on what gift I need from there and I keep telling her .. "nothing .. as India is so much cheaper" .. this way both of us can be happy.

Alternatively, whats the best rate I can get this Amp for in Mumbai (grey/white I don't care as long as it is original) .. I am coming there on the 5th?

If you are purchasing from a website then dont buy it it can be a refurbished one also....so dont take any chance you can get a gift from your sister from India also.....

Panky is the authorized grey market dealer who can get you the lowest prices.....as the prices goes up and down on daily basis...

yes manveet, LBM is pretty correct, u never know if its refurbished/B-stock/DOA/likes.

IMO, US would be a cheaper option.

and hello phaaji, am NOT authorized grey market dealer..LBM has a better knowledge. that is evident by his posts and everybody in ICE would confirm that.

It is 7 kilos :-( and from UK you can carry only 20KGs. That damped my plans.

At the risk of being branded the authorised Kolkata grey market dealer, I'm posting the price of the GTO75.4. It's 9.7K.

I went to London and their showroom is amazing. They have aFerrari 360 Modena as a demo car (not that means they are good).

But I came across what is a pretty good deal. I am scratching my head as to how to bring these to India. If you are interested, here is the deal.

Folks

Let me warn you that the UK airport guys are pretty sticky on luggage allowances (from a revenue point of view). No bag should be more than 32kg (20 kg is the limit but 1-2 kg you can wangle away).

They also weigh your hand baggage.

You get good bargains in the shops on Tottenham Court Road in London, go past the Virgin mega store and there are plenty there, all run by East African Indians

I think its more than 7kg for the 75.4 amp with the boxes and the packaging things inside.

i would suggest not remove those things and get so as to decrease the weight it might damage the amp, i have it in my car and it looks delicate to me.
