Unable to cast phone on Toyota Corolla Altis head-unit

Hello bhpians

I recently upgraded

to a pre worshipped Toyota corolla Altis G CVT (2018). A very fine car from most aspects

Bhpian threads and experiences really helped make this decision.

One thing I am unable to do is cast my screen on the ICE display. It goes through most steps to connect using screen casting, and in the end gives me an error - Failed to connect.

I have tried with 2 phones (both Xiaomi make).

Any advice would be highly appreciated. TIA
