Budget Strictly 10K, Best ICE Kit for Indica Xeta, North Mumbai

Gurus: Newbie here and I love all kinds of music. Unfortunately have no clue about technical aspects of ICE kits, need your expert advise on the following:

1. Best Kit possible for a strict 10K budget for an Indica Xeta
2. Recommended places where I can get it fitted for near Kandivli / Borivali area in Mumbai.

Any good advice really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can send a PM to B&T, Sam Kapasi, Navin etc... (Audio gurus from Mumbai) to know exactly the best place for ICE and installs.
Don't think it is easy. They're quiet busy people who squeeze their schedules for Team-BHP. So, expect some delays before they help you.

For 4-5K you can get teh Pio 2950 or Blau Mumbai or a JVC.
For 5-6K you can get 2 4" coax and 2 6x9 coax from either JBL (CS series) or Blau (GTO series).

would suggest closing threads like these or merging to main threads or creating a new thread with title " Help with Install Locations in India " or so as we now have people dropping in for asking direction to a local shop.

playing a yellow page directory!

The poster is a newbie & has a valid point to discuss. Let us not ridicule & let us try to help instead of playing mod.

@unns60, i think navin has given you the right choices. Pioneer HU is VFM in this budget. Listen to JBL & blaupunkt speakers & then decide.
cheers

Have heard good things about Bull Audio in the VFM category. You could consider those for your speakers

@unns60, You could try out JVC as an alternative to Pioneer for the Head Unit. For the speakers, Option 1: If you drive around yourself, the best option for you would be 5.5'' components ( for better sound quality) or same size co-axials in the stock location on the doors. Here the options would be the JBL GT5 series, Illusion Audio EL series and Bull Audio, you can ask Sam, B&T and Gunbir respectively for the same. Option 2: If you are driven around, my advise would be to install 6*9'' coaxials on the rear parcel shelf. Here in addition to the ones mentioned above you could try JVC. My opinion, for Head Units, JVC vs Pioneer for the same features & budget, i'd chose JVC. For the speakers, you have to listen yourself. Sound is a very personal thing where one's ears are the best judge. So, be patient and you'll be rewarded with sweet music for your ears. The Break-up, Head-Unit: 4-5K Speakers: If front components, then 4 to 4.5K If ovals, then buying b/w 4.5k max, else 3.5K Rest, spend on installation. Your install is possible within your budget, just search around, the answers are out there. All the best. Another thing, avoid SONY at all cost, unless you are willing to 'XPLOD'
