I did search the forum for this but couldn't find any thread/post relating to this.

Has anyone out here upgraded their BMW stock amp to Audiotec Fischer's MATCH UP 7BMW one?

So I am guessing no one has taken up this upgrade.

I have a question for the experts though.

Post install, there is a buzzing noise from the tweeters on boot up.

Once there's any sound signal (music/pdc chime etc) - the buzz stops.

Tried reseating connection (it's a straight PnP set up)
Tried changing the unit to another one (same brand)

The issue persists. Any suggestions? Could it be cos of gain settings in the custom tune?

Sorry for digressing on the topic - could you let me know what was the costing and where did you source Match Up7 from - is it different from Bimmertech Amp. I am thinking of upgrading my system as it is definitely bland at best. Hoping this amp (without speaker upgrades) will give enough oomph to the sound. Any other alternatives, I should consider.
Also hoping your issue is solved.

Bimmertech Amp is relabelled Match Up7 amp.

If you are up to it - you could look at Helix amp too - but it's not a straight PnP though.

My issue was resolved with the change in Amp & upgrading the HU s/w (by BMW).
