Is it something made in Chicago?

Won't it be better to buy some easily available (well known too) stuff for almost similar price?

I have heard about them when I was in Bombay...they are like fake alpines but better than them. good to drive only subs in bridged mode..and power nearly same to pioneer 944. But dont know about the subs....

@ rockzer: JBL bass tubes are passive; i.e. they DO NOT have an inbuilt amp.

@Zak:This was precisely my 1st reaction in the other thread.

@ SAM: This is supposed to be a mumbaiya brand, how come LBM is aware and you are not?

I've listened to the JBL CS1204T and it is pretty popular around here.

There are Bass tubes from Bazooka, Infinity, etc., which I can't comment on, without listening to them.

One of my friend had it in alto.
But after my suggestion he removed the chicago tube and got a good sound with 6x9 Ground zeros and now he is happy.

@Rockzer, Get a pioneer sub and Sony amp for 5k approx.
