Apple's new 'Vehicle Motion Cues' feature helps reduce motion sickness

Apple has announced a number of new features on its future iOS and iPadOS versions. One of them is called 'Vehicle Motion Cues', which claims to help reduce motion sickness in passengers when viewing their devices in cars.

Apple stated, "Research shows that motion sickness is commonly caused by a sensory conflict between what a person sees and what they feel." The tech giant further went on to mention, "[This] can prevent some users from comfortably using iPhone or iPad while riding in a moving vehicle."

Reports state that Apple devices will use the sensors inside to overlay animated dots, which will move in the opposite direction to the motion of the vehicle. The feature can either be set to automatically detect when the user is in a vehicle or can even be turned on/off manually.

Apart from Vehicle Motion Cues, Apple has also introduced new accessibility features like voice control, colour filters and sound recognition.

Very cool. I can barely look at my phone while in a vehicle without feeling sick or getting headaches.
