Alpine PDX Amps

Does anyone own or has anyone demo'ed the latest range of Alpine amplifiers - The PDX Series? I read great things about its build quality and efficiency... but would like to hear opinion about its SQ. I've been eyeing the PDX 1.600 for some time now to drive a Kappa 10.1. My other option is the MRD 605. Will the 600w PDX be too much for the Kappa even if I dial in the gains conservatively? The Kappa is rated at 350 WRMS.

Hydrashok, My Kappa 10.1 is perfectly fine... I opened the enclosure and found a loose connection..
