DIY amp install query!

this WAS my setup till yesterday-

1.BLAU BAHAMAS MP46
2.4 BLAU GTX 173 6 INCH SPEAKERS

FINALLY,ADDED
1. BLAU GT4 Amp driving the fronts and the sub-woofer
2.BLAU gt2 2 channnel amp driving the rear.
3. BLAU sub with enclosure
the question is the 12v power for both amps has been derived directly from the battery.
will this slowly discharge the battery

TIA.

Doctor sahab!

The entire electrical/electronic devices are derived from the battery itself, whether directly or indirectly. So need not worry.... However, make sure that you use the proper gauge of wiring and dont run the ICE while engine is OFF.

Doctor-saheb, just make sure the installer has correctly wired the remote switching output of the HU to the amps, so that the amps switch off when the HU does. Otherwise, the amps will remain on and bleed standby power from batteries (there is no power switch to turn off ).

Otherwise, don't worry, be happy!
