You mean it is not possible to change the LPF cutoff frequency? Or, something else?

ICE Advice for Safari 2.2 LX

Hi I am planning to get a Safari soon. For certain reasons I would need to limit myself to ICE options which are available at the dealer. These are only Blau and Pioneer HU and speakers.

I generally listen to soft music which I like crisp and clear. I need a USB option in my HU too. Occasionally with the right crowd I would like a bit of boom.

As far as possible I want to make do with minimum modifications to the vehicle itself and do not want to use up space in the car.

Please suggest what would be the best ICE setup taking the above into consideration.

Hello NVM,

It would be more helpful to drill down the options, if you mention the budget also ?

Get Blau THC/Thx speakers and either HU.

Which JBL 5.25" Speakers do you have ? CS ? GTO ?
Component Speakers will produce better mids and more clarity paired up with an Amp. If on a budget a CS60.4 makes sense, if you can stretch a bit then 75.4 sounds much better.

but my RockFord rock (6x9 comp) rock in boxes placed in boot and they never boom. i guess my boxes are quite good. and i've got 6'' comp (RockFord) in front but installation was bit tricky.
i'm running them directly off HU and no problem, they are loud and clear.
so if you are short of cash then drop amp idea.

i also agree with this suggestion.
