For those interested to see innards of the center console in the Baleno .. These are not pics taken during installation. I had disassembled the console to take measurements and pics before the install.

Understandable.. Especially since I am running Google Earth with Goops. But then, its set up in such a way that the default windows screen saver with black background comes on pretty quickly. So making it a habit that if I need to look at the screen, I need to slow down and touch the screen to make the screen saver go away.

How did it escape Indian customs !! Or did u end up paying duty?

U can find lots of useful accessories for ur CarPC at DealExtreme: Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - Site-Wide Free Shipping .. They take their own sweet time in sending ur order, but shipping is free!!

I have got a digital tyre gauge which is working.. Also got a USB radio which wasn't working, but they are sending a replacement (DealExtreme: $12.50 USB Digital Radio Receiver Dongle (FM 76~108Mhz)). Another TBHpian Netarchie has got the USB radio working on his CarPC.

I have also ordered the following items :

DealExtreme: $10.88 USB PC Webcam (1.3MPixel with 6-LED)
DealExtreme: $2.67 DVB-T Digital Antenna (3.5mm Connector)

However, Read the reviews before you order anything. Also, expect the shipment to arrive in about a month's time.. NOT before !! This is not the site for u if u don't have patience.

These items look interesting and Cheap :

DealExtreme: $50.90 16-Channel Car GPS Bluetooth Receiver

DealExtreme: $8.76 USB Digital Thermometer Dongle (Software Displays Temperature)

So how does the customs and everything works when you order through this site.
