I have a pioneer DEH 6850 hu
(specs- Pioneer DEH-P6850MP Car Audio 6850 CD/MP3/WMA)
and a old speakers 3-way speakers.


will my current head unit support good front speakers (components ?) as well as the sub [i would want to retain the rear 3-way speakers (yamato)] ?

my budget is <10k for all this.

so please suggest me -

1 front speakers -model-prices
2 sub woofer -model -prices
3.amp if the hu will not support the existing speakers
4.place in bangalore where to get the job done
5.wiring ?


Am not keen on amp right now...might upgrade to a good amp later. but would buy it if the hu does not support the sub.

I havent seen or heard any sub which get supported by HU.
Your budget is low for all this if you want to go for some good quality stuff.

you would be needing an amplifier for sure in order to run the sub.
for front comp. speakers you can go in for JBL CS series 2-3K
sony 553 amp - around 4k, Blau MKII - i think it costs around 3-3.5K( not sure)
and a sub - 4K - the options might be very less in this case......
this still does not includes wiring and installation cost.

i would not suggest sony amp as it may not give you a quality output.

you might have to spend around 12-13K atleast to get a proper system

I am sorry its sony 552 amp and not 553
and the price of Blau MKII is 3750.
