AV Expo 2007

Went to the AV Expo on Saturday evening. The place was shaking as if there was an earthquake. Entered to see a Palio, a WagonR, a Honda City and a Swift as demo cars. The Cerwin Vega Honda City had an issue with the ICE which the guys were sorting out so couldn't get a demo. The Swift was running an Xplod setup causing earthquakes? Nah it won't! The show stealer was a Wagon R and a Palio nice balance of SQ and SPL in both the cars. Had a 15 min listening session and left. Was worth the visit. Did not get into too much of Home Audio due to lack of time.

Enjoy the pictures:

B&T can we have the insights of the setups you did please?

Only nice? They are killer. Absolutely killer. I feel Ground Zero is a fun brand.

Yup they are. Not Steg. Some amp putting out 4000W RMS i.e. the subs are fed half the power they can actually handle .

Is it just me or do the tyres seem under inflated ?
Or maybe it was because of the weight of all that ICE ?

Nope they are 100 PCD with modified bolts to fit the Palio. I know because these were being considered to be shifted to their Lancer. Now I think I might have to come to Mumbai soon & suddenly one morning the Palio will be found with the wheels missing & standing on bricks

Nice Pics Kiran, I also had the chance to visit the AV Expo and have the demo on both the car. They are simply mind blowing and the Wagonr will really blow your ears away . It was an excellent experience to listing to the Carbon series of illusion in the Palio with OZ rims.

The Palio was displayed with its everyday system, i.e. Illusion Audio Carbon Series fronts and rears on a Steg 4-channel amp. Ground Zero Nuclear sub powered by a Nuclear Series monoblock and the Pioneer P80Rs. This was meant for serious demos.

The Wagon R was put together with the idea of having some fun. The subs are the Ground Zero Nuclear Series SPL 12s. Can handle about 4500 watts rms each. They were powered by the Audiobahn A4KDN which puts out 4000 watts rms to the two of them. The fronts were the Illusion Audio Electra Series EL 6.1 component set, and the rears are the horn tweeter based Audiobahn AMS69N. The speakers were running off the Ground Zero Titanium Series 4-ch amp (GZTA 4.120MK2).

Did a LBM on some visiting Team Bhpians. Butter chicken could not be organized.
