Thanks for all that info again.. think I'm narrowing down the options. So here's what I think I have till now:

HU: need a USB port, so had thought of 7950.. but will wait for recommendations
Front: Illusion EL6.1
Rear: Illusion EL62
Amp: JBL GTO75.4
Cables: some good brand - Audison, Monster..
Sub:GZ 12" (price.. anyone ??)
Damping: Noise kill damping @ Rs. 150/- per sq.ft (moralfibre can you tell me where will I get it in Delhi/Gurgaon??)

Am still left with two things to finalize as I see it.. one, can anyone suggest a decent HU that has a USB plug-in (and not a USB adaptor thing..) ? Preferably not an Alpine.. I might just chuck the USB thing for a Pio 4950 or anything else really nice upto 8k price band or lesser.. HELP !

Second, just wanted an opinion on the 75.4.. seems it'll cost me ~12k. Was wondering if there's a comparable 4 ch amp that I can buy for a lesser price.. or, a better one at a similar price ??

Just remembered one more thing.. I'm based outta Gurgaon, so if there's any installer who can do a good job on this closeby would be an easier bet(otherwise, DRIVEN remains..). Pl let me know.. thanks !

Welcome aboard merlin.

As some people here often say `take a demo of different brands before making a decision` `use your ears` etc etc.
So IMHO ask/PM some members like Gunbir paaji ,LBM ,m4ugr8 ,FB etc for a demo.
