Buy a pio steering remote for 1.2k. It works with all remote controlled HUs from Pioneer.

Non-wired. Think about a wired remote in the steering.

I know But have seen a wired one Long time(almost 10 or more years) ago for Pio & hence the question(Didnt I say it was a stupid Q )

Anyways but then how effectively does it controls the HU in various steering positions?

P.s. My current Pio remote can be used by pointing it in most of the directions in car but not any/all

The Pio Steering Remote I have is model: CD-SR100, it works fine except for few awkward steering positions.

Pio Steering Remote

This remote is a pretty nifty tool. Saved me a lot of time and is quite easy to use too. The only buggers being, no pause or switch off function and the sound made while operating any of the buttons. The volume controls are at the back of the remote.

Where in Bombay are you based AFAIK, the remote is available in the grey for 900 to 1.2K depending on where you ask. Just stick around to more established dealers and you should be fine.

Let the music play!!!
