for the price the Pio D510 at 10K would be my pick. The GUrus will offer more options shortly.

That woofer is what I use in my Verna. It is a whopper, offers a lot of tight bass and is not cheap.
Navin you cannot compare it to the Pioneer, the quality of the ported enclosure is par excellence.

Hi Sam,

Had PMed you, picked up the sub and yeah itz awesome ! Just using it temporarly with a bridged ADS 2 channel amp from Itay 160 W per channel and it still rocks. Can't wait to save up money for a better amp to go with it. Waiting for amp suggestions from the gurus ont-bhp.

Cheers

Navin Strikes Back

I made the same mistake (thought the same thing as Sam & B&T). Looks like you have sharper eyes than we do.

Alpine now makes a mono amp for 9k! Bang for the buck. Puts out some 250w RMS continuous. Not sure if this amp would be enough to drive the infinity monster.

I think LBM's suggestion of the blue infinity thingy will be the best bet.

you mean the 311 or the 1300? According to Sam's post only the 1300/1600 are available in India. the 311 is known as the "blue amp".

Thanks guys, the sub is 300 RMS, was shown a lovely Infinity amp to go with it but the dealer said it cranks out 600 RMS and it would do the job. But I'm wondering if that if that is too powerful ?
