Bmw...

Satya,

Here are somethings we can suggest from experience...

- Use a JL Cleansweep / JBL MS-8 for Re-EQ and Hi-Low conversion: This really depends less on system configuration and more on what the End user wants... Like rear seat control, aux in, iPod control, DVD integration etc. There are lot of things on the market now from Alpine, Kenwood etc that make the Cleansweep look like something from the dark ages.

- Use Amps of choice

- Speakers: Use thin drivers for the woofers are under the front seats and stock size specific mid and tweets. You can find very few 3ways that WILL fit this car.

- Use Subs of choice

So it would help if you will elaborate what is needed by your client. This means getting a wish list in place.

Any protocol at which they communicate ? or any external deivce

Byteflight-based protocols, which they are trying to get in as an industry standard; can be adapted to piggy-back IP. Hardware-wise, you can jump over to RS485 and even to Ethernet (converter). 10Mbps, dual channel for redundancy. Very deterministic synchronous and asynchronous communications.

Hmm.. then RS485 based communication can be used.

I am planning to Use the JL Clean Sweep, but when you are refering to alpine's OE integration system, is it the Alpine VehicleHub Pro VPA-B222 what you refering to ?
