Hifonics vs MB Quart vs Alphasonik

Gurus,

How would you guys compare a Hifonics vs MB Quart vs Alphasonik. I am a little confused on what to proceed with.

I am looking at the multichannel amplifiers specifically. Specifically premium PAB series from MB Quart, ZXi series from Hifonics and PMZ series from Alphasonik.

I have heard a Hifonics some time back, not sure which model it was, but blame it on the tune up job, I didn't like the sound pretty much. Maybe the amplifier was still good.

I know that Hifonics and MB Quart are from the same Maxxsonics stable. I am not considering RF amps anyways.

Alphasonik - i have not come across anyone using one. But I guess they are a little underrated for the quality of their products. I've read that the ZED AUDIO CORPORATION from Steven Mantz had done couple of designs for Alphasonik in the mid eighties.

advice

if you have a tight budget and want sound worth much more then what you spend, i say go for hifonics. MBQuart is pretty much the same. (unless the german one)

i really don't know much about the zeus series from hifonics, but the brutus series kick a**.

i have zeus components, Brutus amps and subs. i am very much satisfied with the way they sound.

XXV series competes with the best in the market and are highly underrated. you might want to look at at XXV gemini which is a 4 channel amp.

there are many brands in the market, are you sourcing these from the US?

What specific equipment are you looking for?

i am planning to source them from the US. The reason for sticking on to these specific series is basically because they have a 5 channel in each of these series.

If you planning to run only speakers off the amp then a Titan amp from Hifonics will suffice. If there is a requirement to run a sub, then get a Zeus 4 Channel.

So what music is this setup going to play and what is your upgrade budget ?

Edit: If you want to demo a well tuned Hifonics setup, then I can organise an audtition for you.
