Best Sub Woofer Setup within 15K

Which is the best setup of amplifier and subwoofer for quality bass. I have Pioneer headset and JBL Ovals at rear and Round at front. Want to know about just amp and Sub. Is this budget good enough?

hey man
why dont u go for the ground zero 12 " sub and 4 ch amplifier . The amp will cost you approx 9990 and the sub for 5000- 6000. You wont regret it. Its the best you can get for the price .

quality bass = tight bass ?

Will suggest you check out some ICE setup where tubes, ported box and sealed box are used.

I can arrange for audition of these too

My suggestion; get sealed or ported one with a mono. You may need to stretch till 20 though.

@ 15k you can get a good sub + sealed bo and a 2 channel amp.

If you buy 4 channel you can use the other pair to power the front speakers which I presume would be compos in your Fiat Adventure.

The best option that I can think of in your budget is:

Ground Zero Titanium GZTW 12MKČ - Rs. 5490/-

+++

Panasonic 2-ch amp - Rs. 8,990/-

This combo has been tried and tested and yields exceptional results in that price bracket.

Use the remaining Rs. 500/- bucks for Finolex cables for powering the amplifier. I am sorry I did not consider the price for an enclosure and installation.

Very good recommendation by MF.
Though If one has a 15k budget, i would recommend a mono and DVC.
My recommendation:
Sub::: Ground Zero :: Subwoofer / GZRW 12XD-AL
Amp: Kenwood Electronics - KAC-8103D Class D Mono Power Amplifier - KAC8103D 1000 Watts - KAC8103D

Saar, the sub itself is 11k . Don't know much about the amp but it surely won't be available for the prices that you see in $'s.

Quite serious there. Only problem with this alternative is that you need to buy the fusebox separately which adds up to the cost. How about increasing the budget slightly to get a nice sealed enclosure measuring about 1 cu. ft. approximately for Rs. 1500/-. Get finolex for wiring + fuse box + an RCA.

SOmehow i get a feeling that i should extend the budget upto 20K. PLease let me know the options in that case. Will it be good quality in that case. I dont want high noise levels. I want the bass to kick in at low volumes.

I see boxes and tubes. Which is better for the above requirement. And what is a ported one!!

Sorry. I am highly illeterate in this department.
