can HU from UK be used in India?

hello

does a HU bought from UK work in indian cars and JBL speakers.Are the specifications same for HU available in India and UK? If not,what specs should i be looking for when getting a HU from UK to match indian cars/speakers

Dont get anything that has DAB radio reception. Its pretty useless in India, atleast for now. Do they still have FM radios in UK?

India and UK / Europe have the same standards for FM. Audio CDs and data (mp3) CDs are the same all over the world. So any HU meant for UK would work in India.

But why buy in UK? It would be perhaps cheaper in India. Also, the warranty - unless explicitly stated to be International Warranty, would not be valid in India.

HUs do not have any preference for speaker brand and model. Of course, some discerning audiophiles say that some HU+speaker combinations exhibit definite tonal characteristics.
