Which Amp for GZ RW 12 XD-AL Sub

Hey people

I have decided for the following sub

GROUND ZERO

GZRW 12 XD-AL
30 cm 500 watts, cast basket, 2 inch 2 x 4ohm, Alucone, woven in leads, Xmax 18mm, SPL 91,4dB

What i wanted to know is that

Is the following amplifier ok to be fitted with this sub without any problems ( low bass or distortions or disturbed bass)

JBL 301.1
  • 204 watts RMS x 1 channel at 4 ohms and ≤ 1% THD + N (BR>
  • 294 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 ohms & 14.4V supply and ≤ 1% THD + N
  • Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 77 dBA (reference 1 watt into 4 ohms)
  • Dynamic Power: 320 watts at 2 ohms
  • Effective Damping Factor: 6.39 at 4 ohms
  • Frequency Response (–3dB): 10Hz - 302Hz
  • Maximum Input Signal: 4.7V
  • Maximum Sensitivity: 220mV
  • Output Regulation: .098 dB at 4 ohms
  • Dimensions (W x H X D): 11-5/8" x 12-5/16" x 2-3/8"
Because My ICe with the 601.1 is going a bit out of budget so have to decide for it.

Please Gurus , Help Me out

if the sub is doing 91db/1w/1m it is pretty efficient. at 100W it will be 114db. I am sure this will be more than adequate.

Bass & Trouble represents GZ so it would make sense to PM him.

I am using the same GZ 12XD-AL Sub x 2nos. powering up with a 2ohms stable Assembled amp Bridge mode on DVC mode, man its kicka$$ and very loud,i know if i plan to install a 2 x monoblock it can power up more.

As LBM described whats your budget as there are many amps available in the market to power up the subwoofer

See The amps Sub will be around 12000
the JBL 75.4, around 8k
illusion components 6490
so my budget now lies around 13500

the 601.1 is a bit higher priced than this.

the 75.4 will run the components etc while the 301.1/601.1 will power the sub

If you are planning to add only fronts then you can run the sub with a 75.4 only. No need to get another amp.

If you want to keep the front stock then run them through the HU. And wire the rears and the sub through the 75.4

Navin Ji he is powering 4 inch full range drivers from 75.4. Which will be over kill for a 4 inch driver thats why I recommended to run it thorough the HU
