i10 POLKed and Alpined and Pioneered

I zeroed on ice for my 1 day old 1.2 magna

The list is as follows

Alpine ida-X100 from my old car
Pioneer Active Subwoofer from my old car

Front Polk db6501
Rear Pol db651
Amp Polk PA200.4
Schosche wiring for amp and rc for subwoofer

All speakers installed in stock locations and tweeters on dashboard. Amp went below the co-driver seat.

Fitting was neat and professional touch was visible.
Amp has been set to flat on all controls.

The sound quality is awesome. Polk is not as shrill as said many a times in this forum. Same head unit showed lot of clarity with minimal distortion than my old santro(Alpine+pioneer woofer +polk db691+polk db401). I usually listen to folk songs on my ipod and I felt the difference.

Damping is required but I went broke, coz i also installed AutoCop, gear lock, seat cover, head lamp, and horn. So may be soon.

Pics will uploaded as soon as I click them.

Thanks for reading

Congratulations buddy.
Enjoy your ICE. No matter what others say or not, you like your setup and that's the end result an ICE setup should produce.

Nice to know that you like the sound of Polks. For many, it may sound bright (including me). It's all depended on each individual's listening tastes.

Congrats! Pics, please!

Looks like you've set the filters on the amp to "off"? That could be why you feel the need for damping in the front doors (the speakers are getting the full signal). If you set the HPF on the amp for the fronts and LPF on the amp for the rears, you might find that the need for damping the front doors is not that much. The i10 is pretty solidly built, and doesn't need a lot of damping.
