As it turns out you can't fit this unit with aux in. apparently this unit is generally replaced by most ppl on all other forums. there is a double din mount available online see if you can ask one o the guys like blueraven to get it for you. deralte sir. phone in will only work if the speed pulse connector is plugged in not otherwise. you will fine this in online search under 'visteon ford MONDEO head unit' its the vnr9000 i believe but without amplification. the other one i have to find out about. serious suggestion is get a new head. coz that unit however brilliant it maybe is a lil b4 the time of mobile digital entertainmentin the form of pods and mp3 players.

Does the HU have an Aux in? if so then a system like H&K's Drive and Play will work.

@ab1xlr8: The HU cost me about 26k in october 07 with fitting.

Im considering getting the reverse camera option but that would involve cutting a small hole in the rear bumper.

Has anyone used the JVC bluetooth module? Is it any good? does it display the sms on screen? is there a privacy mode?

Re: Honda Accord / Ford Mondeo Ipod connectors

Hi,

This seems to be a very old thread wonder if someone is reading this or not. I have a solution for the 2006 Accord. I have a 2007 Accord V6 and was facing the same problem. Option for only Audio CD's and no MP3/IPOD interface. Well I did some research and found this product called USA Spec Ipod Interface. The model is PA-15-HON2. This is available in the US. I asked a friend to pick one up for me. It cost about $ 149. Was a very easy fix into the the Stock unit. Well it plays MP3s on the Ipod very well.
